Now I feel England should win the series...Losing a test series at home will at least awaken the public anger and selectors who are being controlled by N Srinivasan the mega thug from Chennai.

We need to drop/rest a few idiots who think their place is guaranteed. Gambhir is running out a lot of set batsmen. He needs to improve or get out..Thats just as bad as not performing.
Captain position needs to be changed. Kohli is a superb batsman just going through a bad form, he can be rested for a while and taken back. But some others need to be dropped for longer time.

As KG told, if we need to hit back at England we need to use new fresh bowlers who they have not played against....What is happening to the best bowlers of Ranji and Duleep trophies?

I still feel Zaheer is among the top bowlers of the world. His body and his speed have taken a huge beating over the years due to his workload. If he was nurtured well, he would still be bowling at 150+.

Well one more embarrassment is staring India now. Ashwin is batting at 83...He has been a better batsman than a bowler in this series. As I said our great captain has never played any great match saving test knock so far...He scored 0 in the second innings.

Today the last Indian pair will continue as much as possible. The only miracle is an Indian win. If Ashwin/Ojha post 70+ more. Then it will be 100+ lead.

But we dont even have the bowlers to get England out. Also they are hungry for winning this series so they will not bat irresponsibly like us. I feel they will be 2-1 up.

Take out Sehwag Gambhir Sachin Kohli Dhoni...retain Yuvi and Pujara...Yuvi for the positive attitude he has always shown in his stay. None have had that outlook
Gambhir runs out batsmen a lot.....sehwag shud be sacked for the carefree attitude..
If u dont instill this fear of losing then those guys come and play a careless game
Revamp bowling unit...use ashwin as a part time bowler and a 7th batsman..u cant have him bowl 45 overs without a wicket regularly

ENGLAND WON the match...What an HUMILIATION we have got at home. This is one of the worst phases of Indian test cricket.

What can you expect when CSK thugs are running Indian cricket.

Dhoni is clearly not made for tests. He excels at ODIs and is ok at T20s...So his place in those teams is fine for now. But he has no business in Tests.

Now we clearly understand the caliber of batsmen like Dravid and Laxman. Nobody can come to their level. Pujara should be given more time. He is still untested in foreign conditions.
We need another batsman with orthodox technique for test matches.

Regarding Sachin, if not for his 70+ in first innings, this match would have ended in 4 days. But he clearly getting old and should be rested I feel. Kohli has been playing well before but is clearly out of form now. He can be rested but he is surely going to be team captain in the future. He needs to focus and come back strongly.

Yes Gambhir needs to be booted out. He ran out Sehwag and then Pujara in 2nd innings. Who knows Pujara may have batted sensibly and saved the test. No mercy should be shown to the idiot Gambhir who talks more than he plays.

Bowling clearly needs to be revamped. We need a fresh and new bowling lineup for the Nagpur test.

    See this embarrassing article.

These jokers told its revenge series. ROTFL..what a joke...England is having double revenge on us.

Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh dropped

India have dropped Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh for the Nagpur Test. Delhi fast bowler Parvinder Awana and Saurashtra allrounder Ravindra Jadeja have received their first Test call-ups. Piyush Chawla replaced Harbhajan. Sachin Tendulkar retained his Test spot, and MS Dhoni his captaincy.

Zaheer's is the biggest fall. This is the first time he has been dropped from the Test side after his rousing comeback in 2006-07. He has taken 15 wickets in eight Tests in 2012 at a strike rate of 98 balls per wicket. In this series, he has taken four scalps at a strike rate of 133. Moreover, his fielding has been abysmal for some time. His replacement, Awana, took 5 for 81 against Karnataka in a Ranji Trophy match a day before the selection meeting. Reputed to be brisk, Awana has taken 21 Ranji wickets at an average of 21.57 this season.

Yuvraj, called back after a double-century in Duleep Trophy was deemed enough to prove his fitness, has not taken his chance either. He scored 125 runs in five innings in the series. He has now played 40 Tests over various comebacks for three centuries and an average of 33.92.

Yuvraj's replacement, Jadeja, recently finished his third first-class triple-century in 13 months. He was dropped even from the limited-overs squads earlier this year, but the two triples in one month this season and 18 Ranji wickets at 23.72 have put him ahead of Rohit Sharma and Manoj Tiwary in the queue for a middle-order slot. Even as the squad was being debated, Tiwary was busy rescuing Bengal with 55 out of Bengal's score of 112. Four of their wickets, though, fell to Jadeja. Tiwary retired-hurt with a pulled muscle, but that happened after the squad was announced.

Harbhajan was recalled for the Tests without any improvement shown in domestic cricket, but a lacklustre show in Mumbai means he will be stuck on 99 Tests for a while. Not that his replacement, Chawla, has set the domestic scene on fire, with nine wickets at an average of 48.33.

Awana and Jadeja made it to the T20 side too. Uttar Pradesh allrounder Bhuvneshwar Kumar joined them in place of the injured Irfan Pathan. Virender Sehwag and Zaheer, left out of T20 squad, were unavailable for reasons the BCCI didn't state. Ajinkya Rahane took Sehwag's place. Harbhajan has been dropped for T20s as well.

Squad for Nagpur Test: MS Dhoni (capt. & wk), Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Cheteshwar Pujara, R Ashwin, Ashok Dinda, Pragyan Ojha, Ajinkya Rahane, Piyush Chawla, Ishant Sharma, M Vijay, Parvinder Awana

Squad for T20Is: MS Dhoni (capt. &wk), Gautam Gambhir, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Manoj Tiwary, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Piyush Chawla, Ashok Dinda, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Laxmipathy Balaji, Parvinder Awana

^^Nothing but dirty politics from konga thugs running BCCI. CSK players get first preference. Stupid Ravindra Jadeja who is a flat track bully got another chance. He hit a 300 recently...I wish he can do the same against England. But so far he has been a waste in international cricket.
The fast bowler Awana is a good choice. Luckily Murli Vijay is not back. Mishra should have been taken instead of Chawla.

I would have selected the top ranji batsman from Rajasthan Robin Bist. I think he would have been a great surprise to England.
Dhoni better step up and play well in this match. India has no other choice except to win the match else it will be a humiliation of the decade for our team.

The selection of Piyush Chawla is clear proof of Dhoni's involvement in selection and his arrogance. Mishra was the better choice. I have a mental image of Dhoni jumping up and down in the selection committee meeting like a chimp with constipation saying select this guy or Ill do something here.

Yuvraj could have got another chance. Instead Dhoni should have been dropped. Gambhir should also be dropped for running out batsmen else he should bat at no11.

Taking Jadeja and dropping yuvi s one of d worst ever selections made. Yuvi s anyday better with both bat and ball than Jadeja. JADEJA S CSK guy. If that 300 was considered...then ganesh satish and kb pawan saved karnataka a match. They shud have also been taken
Get in praveen kumar...he s one who can take wkts.....drop sehwag gambhir sachin kohli

Bloody inbred joker dhoni has taken Jadeja in the team....What bullshit is this...captain and bcci deserved to be stoned in public..Looks like Srinivasan booked a room for himself and Dhoni last night.

I think they should replace entire Indian team with Konga super kings team and stop fooling the Indian public.

As a patriotic fan I want India to lose this match if they dont deserve it. A 3-1 loss at home will wake up the sleeping public and help to kick out the joker of a captain who has been hiding behind luck and the good performances of legends like Dravid, Laxman and Tendulkar along with Sehwag too in the past.

Even Gambhir should be made to fight for his place.

Indian jokers at 87/4 with Kohli the only last recognized batsman. Then u have tailender Dhoni and Jadeja and the rest of the bowlers. India HAD to win this match. Now even a draw seems a distant thought.

Kohli played one of the masterful innings. Dhoni batted to save his skin. Though India is still in trouble...We are still behind England and this is the 3rd day. Our only chance to win is to reduce the deficit, bowl out England for 150-200 and then overhaul a target of about 200-220 on the last day. Both of these will be difficult tasks but if India needs to win desperately then we need to do this. Still for Indian cricket, it will be best we lose the match and series so that the selectors will be forced to overhaul the team so we can get a team that will play for the future.

BTW Jadeja flopped in batting as expected...Hitting 300 on a flat pitch against horrible bowlers is one thing and facing world class England bowlers is another. Rahane deserved the place in the squad.

Kohli is the future of test cricket. I think sooner or later he should be made captain to gear him for a long innings.

England grinded India today and unless some miracle occurs...The match will be a draw and India would have suffered a humiliating series defeat.

Still if Dhoni is not removed as test captain and some jokers are made to fight for their place, I think nobody should watch Indian cricket.

I think an enquiry needs to be made on how someone like Jadeja can come into the team.
