A man who has something to say and will say it the way he wants to! V Ravichandran blasted into filmdom's hall of fame by being an unconventional experimenter who broke all norms and in the process, broke some records. He succeeded in cleaning off the cobwebs from the ceilings of thinking and creating. He created his own style of filmmaking. His behavior prompted people to believe he was not actor material but he went onto become a big star in his own right. Ramachari is the best example of his work. It used an entirely new way of filmmaking. The use and presentation of music in the movie was innovative and original. His selling proposition was to connect on a very normal, personal, day-to-day level with the audience. There was no use of high-flown language. Instead, he used popular wisdom to get through to his audience. Premaloka his directorial venture followed worked away from traditional methods and used music as language in the film. V Ravichandran's quest to present things in a new light or use the same tools of filmmaking in a new way are now famous. Sometimes though, in a frenzy to focus on the new, some basic things like the storyline take a backseat. Despite that, he has had some brilliant successes. This non-conformist actor-director has been recognized for his contribution and the audience looks forward to more from him.
